![]() Her owner says 'That Mayzin is now in good health and both of us are very happy and so grateful for Jacqui's expertise and genuine honest care'. History: Mayzin a 9 year old Mountain Bred Mare from Muzzle Station was delivered on a cattle truck as a two year old following the Kaikoura earthquake. Both the owner and Mayzin had multiple moves together initially, but in June 2024 they were on different properties which caused stress and separation anxiety. In late December 2024 a growth developed on the right side of Mayzin's face. Her diet was supplemented with "hard feed" - meadow chaff, ground linseed, organic cider vinegar, garlic, salt, turmeric and Equilibrium B1 Cool Mix. This improved her dull coat but did little to reduce the growth. The "lump" was identified as a sarcoma by 2 vets. Their recommendations were: Vet 1. Sedation and surgically removal with a 45% success rate. Vet 2. Sedation and series of Carboplatin injections "depending on how the sarcoid responded”. The owner then explored holistic treatment options. Treatment Goals:
Treatment Protocol: The approach taken aimed to support her immune system with the aim of clearing the sarcoma on her face. To target this goal a treatment protocol was formulated that included a herbal tincture with clinical actions of antimicrobial, anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, immune and antioxidant support. Mayzin was also prescribed a topical essential oil remedy to apply directly onto the tumour. Outcome: Mayzin has had a positive response to the treatment protocol. Her owner was very dedicated and followed the treatment recommendations as prescribed and reached out if needed. Owners feedback: 'From February 18th the herbal remedies and essential oils, had an immediate effect and within two months the sarcoma had completely resolved. Mayzin is now in good health and both of us are very happy and so grateful for Jacqui's expertise and genuine honest caring'. Comments are closed.
